Not so new to G&L. I'm a gigging bass player in a cover band in WI, I'm also the Product Specialist for Musical instruments at Full Compass. My main bass is a US G&L I got from a buddy at the factory. Hollowbody ASAT, gloss tinted Maple, Emerald Blue, white binding. Here she is:

I have other basses, but I really don't need any of them. This is the only one that leaves the house these days. generally there's a honeymoon period with any new bass I get where I take it out and play a set with it. Eventually though they all stay at home most of the time. My ASAT just gives me all the tones I need and never fails me. That maple neck hardly ever moves and I don;t treat the thing as well as I should, especially in our arctic climate half the year.

I also have a couple Tribute guitars. An ASAT Classic and I just got this:

Full disclosure, we just became a Tribute dealer and I brought a bunch of these limited Fallouts in as an exclusive. You can buy one. They are on the internets.

Anyways here to have a good resource for G&L info, and to see all the great custom G&L's people have built and /or bought.

Yeah that color can be pretty polarizing. It's also hard to photograph. the sparkle is really subtle and it can look very green or very blue.

Next one I build will be more traditional I think.

Love the color of your ASAT SH bass.
And don't forget to add it to our G&L Registry.
