welcome Norbert,
I like your focused relaxed playing ( not too mention upside down   ),
There is a section for video clips, these should make it over there so it's easy to find.

thanks for posting those vids,

Hi Elwood,
Thanks for the kind words and also thanks for opening me a topic 8-) :greet:
Yeahh, upside down :D I did not have money to get a lefty guitar when I was a kid, so I turned my friend's righty guitar into the other direction and learnt that way
I'll post as many covers/jams as possible with my lovely G&L guitars.

Regards

Hi Guys,
Absolutely new pickup config. in the Legacy, rock setup :D 8-)
Purchased some Dimarzios, Super Dist.S in the bridge, put the Area 58 in the middle and one of my favs. Vinnie Moore's Fast Track 1 in the neck.

Did a jam on a post-grunge, metal whatever BT, it's only audio, I'm lazy to do a video at the moment
It's all played with the bridge pickup, love my Legacy awesome instrument ;)

I really enjoy your fluid and melodic playing, great to listen to. Can you play chords with an upside-down guitar? I would think that some barre chord shapes would be hard. I also noticed that your bends are done by pulling down instead of the more common pushing up for people who play guitar the 'normal' way. You learned the way you have to, and the results are great.

Hi Kit,
Thanks, I''m glad you like my playing, and yes whatever I play I always try to put some recognizable melodies into it, I think that's the essence of music.
Yes, I can play all the chords I need, in some jazzy chords you have to put the little finger on the B,E strings with a wider stretch, these ones are not so easy, but can play most of them.

There are some pros playing this unusual way, if you're intrested, check out Eric Gales (classy blues player), Thorsten Koehne (classy metal, shred guy, Eden's Curse band) and Doyle Bramhall II.

:shocked028: I'm so confused.

Great style.

Interesting to hear all of the nuances coming out of those guitars.

Hi Salmon,
Thanks!
I'd like to make a video in the near future about switching to all the pickup positions in one solo, would sound awesome in my opinion, the only thing I need is time...
Also want to post a new video with the bluesboy, not sure in what style, maybe a bit of blues jam, we'll see...

Jeah, they're all changed to Dimarzios, Super Distortion S bridge (very thick, pure rock), Area58 middle, Fast Track 1 neck (very warm).
