I was considering adding another string retainer to the guitar for the D an G string. I am not having any problems I am aware of but noted I do not have a nice downward angel on the string like I get off the first 2 string going through the retainer.
Any thoughts on if this is a good idea or not?
If I do add one are there any calculations on where it should be placed?
Do the retainers get screwed right into the head stock or is there a threaded insert that should go in first.
Thanks for any help.

So just keep it as it is! As long as you don't have any problems, you don't need another string angle. For tuning stabilty a flat angle is better anyway.jtripo08 wrote:I am not having any problems
