subjective pickup question for asat.

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

subjective pickup question for asat.

Post by swjake83 »

So Im looking hard at an asat. Now the question is which one. Straight single coils, the bigger single coils on the special, or a bluesboy. I want an all purpose rhythm guitar. I dont like thin, and i don't want muddy either. would the special be the perfect in between? I have 2 american strats, and i also have an old music man leo built with crazy hot humbuckers. something in between is the goal.

Thanks in advance.

My 2¢: a Bluesboy has a lot for you as a rhythm guitar. But then you sill have to choose between solid or semi-hollow and if the latter with or without f-holes ... :shocked028:
