Hey guys. I saw a left-handed G&L 30th Anniversary ASAT Special listed for sale online, but when I went to buy it, the guy said it was already sold. It would be my first G&L and first tele, and I still want to get one if possible. Can they be ordered, or does anyone know if there's one at a store somewhere?
thanks
~Rus

G&L stopped production of the 30th Anniversary models in 2012. See: Re: G&L Announces the 30th Anniversary Collection!.Rus wrote:Hey guys. Re: are lefty 30th Anniversary ASAT Specials still available
You could order an ASAT Special with some options to get close to the 30th Anniversary model.
Options to get are: White Pearl finish on Alder body (however, Frost Top coat option is not available), White Pearloid pickguard,
White pickup covers, Ebony fretboard, #1 neck with matching headstock option.
What you won't be able to get from the factory are the pearl tuner buttons, you would need to get them aftermarket.
Also, you won't get the 30th Anniversary decal on the back of the headstock.
Hope this helps.

No, they have not dropped that option. It's available on all standard finishes except for Pearl White, likely because it was the 30th Anniv. finish.blargfromouterspace wrote:Have they stopped the satin frost finish as an option now?Craig wrote:White Pearl finish on Alder body (however, Frost Top coat option is not available), :
