Pots question

Does G&L PTB system use all audio tapered for their pots? (including volume, treble and bass knob)

or audio taper for volume, linear for treble and bass knobs?

The volume and treble controls are audio taper, the bass control is reverse audio taper.

Linear taper pots are typically used in active systems.

Active: The instrument would have onboard a small battery-powered preamp. Such a preamp might provide advanced gain and EQ control. Example: acoustic-electric guitars.

Passive: The instrument would have no onboard preamp. Controls are cut-only; no boost. Example: a G&L Legacy Special.
