I was unable to bring up the answer even though I am sure this has been discussed previously. If I acquire an S-500 I will be interested in the regular Strat switch options, the Tele neck/bridge and the all-on options. I am not interested in the series/parallel options. With the middle pickup being reverse-wound this must mean that the Tele neck/bridge position is not noise canceling. Is this correct?
Thank you

Yes, you are correct. The bridge and neck combo is not hum cancelling.

See this post for the stock pickup switch settings of the S-500: What is the expander switch used on many of the models?.Salmon wrote:I was unable to bring up the answer even though I am sure this has been discussed previously. Re: S-500 Neck Bridge Position
Thanks guys!
I had been considering one of the new American Deluxe Strats and locked into its series parallel switch option.
