G&L Customer service second to none!

Post by wrigman »

Just wanted to give some kudo's where they are due. I had a major problem with my ASAT Classic S that would not allow a good set up. I first asked a question about it on G&L's Facebook page. Dave replied and told me to call Chris at the Huntington Beach H.Q. He explained that Chris handled all complaints(what a fun job right?) and warranty. So I emailed Chris and explained to him what was going on. He asked if I could ship him my guitar so he could look at it and see if he could fix it there at his bench. I explained to him that I live in Corona, CA.
(Corona CA. is where the Fender factory is), so I asked if I could BRING the guitar to him. I did, he looked at it, tried a few things on the bench and said he needed to send it to the factory and get back to me. I left it. Chris called a few days later and told me what needed to be done and explained that it would take a while, but said it would be covered under warranty. Now I won't say what they did, but I will say that it almost takes an act of God to get done what I got done. Thanks to Chris, Dave and the guy's at the G&L factory in Fullerton, My ASAT is back to feeling, playing and sounding great!

@ Louis....I STILL don't want to say WHAT was done, but I think you may have a good idea what was done. I was shocked when I was told what they were willing to do to make things right! I was VERY thankful that THEY said what they were willing to do. The ASAT is a 2010 Classic S. It's the one that was used in a you tube video ans played by Andy from Pro Guitar shop. Still...Glad to have it back and 100%. Hope this is a sign of good things to come.

Again, THANK YOU CHIRS AND DAVE!!!!!!
