Go to the main G&L 30th Anniversary webpage for details.

Check it out!
G&L recently announced that they are adding these models to the 30th Anniversary collection:

S-500 - the quintessential modern Leo double-cutaway, now with DFS Vibrato

ASAT Classic Bluesboy - a top-seller which just won the Guitar World Platinum award

ASAT Bass - perhaps the most iconic G&L bass ever

SB-2 - the modern Leo P/J bass, now with tone control

G&L plans to complete production of the 30th Anniversary Collection by the end of December.

Photos and information will be added to the G&L website shortly.

This info should be added to the G&L website. The only reason I knew of the S-500 option was from here. I have yet to see even an email blast on this. My G&L dealer didn't even know!

Cheers,

Will

P.S. They make the S-500 in Left-handed.

Hi Will,

The info I posted came from the G&L email they sent out to the dealers. I'm on the mailing list and received mine on 11/24.
So, your dealer should have received it around that time, too. In the email it mentions that the G&L website
will be updated shortly. Dave must be waiting on photos of these new additions before doing the update.

All but the F-100 model are available in Left-handed.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

My name is Cemil and I'm from Turkey. About 3 weeks ago I bought an 30th anniversary L2000 bass from your official distributer. Just a few days backs I realized that my pickups are surprisingly in black color although they are supposed to be white, as seen in all pictures on the net.

Will you please reply if I you dispatch basses with black pickups installed? Should I question the distributer's trustworthiness?

Regards...

Hi Cemil,

The 30th Anniversary L-2000 is supposed to have special Pearl Frost pickup covers.
I suggest you contact the distributor and ask him to get you the correct Pearl Frost pickup covers.
And when they come in, he should make arrangements to have them installed in place of the black ones
at no charge to you.

Hope this helps.

Very disappointed... I have been asking for a quote for a Lefty Legacy with specs similar to the 30th Anniversary models for more than one month...

The dealer has not received any feedback from the factory so far... There is no commercial at G&L who works on the quotes?? Do you know how they are organised?

I bet Craig can get a reply pretty quick or it least get the right contact info for you !! .... seems it tricky to get ahold of the right people when needed as phone numbers and email have changed

the factory would not be giving the quote, the dealer would. if the dealer is waiting for the factory, then the dealer has no idea how the process works.

You should be talking with the G&L Distributor for your country. Here's the link to the one for Belguim: http://www.glguitars.com/distributors/BELGIUM.asp.

Also, you would be better off being very specific to what specifications you want on the Legacy. The 30th Anniversary Legacy has been out of production
for over a year and the dealer you are talking with may not even know what the specs for the 30th Anniversary Legacy were.

Here's what you would want to order, to get close to the 30th Anniversary Legacy:
USA Legacy with Alder body with the Pearl White finish (this will get you as close to the 30th Annivsary finish, but with out
the Satin Frost which is not available on Pearl White), #1 neck with optional Ebony fretboard and optional matching headstock,
the optional DFS Dual Fulcrum upgrade bridge.

If you want additional options, see the G&L website Guitar Options page.

The distributor should be able to work up a quote for these specifications without the need to contact G&L's Sales department.

Hope this helps.

Hey, sorry for late reply...

Actually, my dealer had ordered the guitar but but I did not realise that as I did not pay anything for the order....

Anyway, here she is... Just a little issue with the tuners which should have been pearloid... my dealer is working on that...
