Beautiful Wood ! Those guys really knew where to source the good stuff.
A competent woodworker would be able to match the edge with the face after a mod, and if it was done in the 80's,
it'll look that much closer since the finishes have been through the same conditions over the years.
Hard to say , but that is some sweet quartersawn maple .

Thanks for Positive Comments !!!! I have been playing the guitar unplugged to figure out where the fret buzz is coming from. I think it needs a neck tilt adjustment or new strings. That will be the next step. Strings First..........
