Hi Folks -
Currently playing a 3 bolt red ASAT Classic, and an old early 3 bolt L-2000 when I do need to haul out a bass.
The classic is transparent red with an ebony board. The bass is natural ash with rosewood.
Mostly I play roots oriented stuff. My ASAT covers all the range of a Tele and more. (My other main guitar is a 1962 Guild Starfire 2 with Dearmonds.)
I'm a long time G&L player and fan. Over the years I've had 3 ASAT Classics(one semi, one S-500 and an L-2000 bass.
(And only sold the ones I don't have now because I needed the dough!)
All are lefty, and kudos to G&L for always making a good part of their line available to us southpaws!
Currently looking to do a mod myself.
It's the only mod I've ever had done to a G&L prior, replacing the 3 way switch with a 4 way.
