I bought my first G&L in 97, a L 1500 bass.
I needed a new bass for my band and didn't know what to buy. The dealer in Lyon put me in the Hands and told me it was a MM/Fender mix. Ok i said.
2 years ago, i decided to defret it and now it's a very nice freless.

I had a L 2000 MIK tribute and a 81.
When i played the 81 for the first time, i said : "wouaw, that's exactly what i like", this vintage MM tone more agressive ( bridge pickup ), i was found of. Unfortunately i had to separate.
