Pick guard for ASAT Deluxe

Post by tfarney »

Anybody ever made one/had one made? Something floating, like an LP guard? I know it would have to be short, because of the placement of the volume knob, but I think it would be very cool. Any resources to get such a thing?

Reminds me of the ASAT Super.

Only without the screws?

that should be a capital offense. i mean up there with dahmer and manson. i want to take off every pickguard from every guitar, why would you ever want to put one on? i almost bought a super once, but the piece of unnecessary plastic held me back. the wood looks so much better.

G&L has used an LP style pickguard (but not floating) on the ASAT Junior (1998), Korina Collection ASAT Deluxe II (2011),
Savannah Collection ASAT Deluxe II (2013) and Savannah Collection ASAT Junior II (2013), along with the previously mentioned ASAT Super.

You can order those pickguards from G&L's pickguard supplier.

Hope this helps.
