How many G&L's fit into.......
How many G&L's fit into a standard bed Ford Ranger? One layer thick, cases standing on all four feet. The winner will get inner peace.

Come on, 90 viewers to this important question and only a handful of responses. No wonder this site has lost so many members. I remember when Yomato asked us how many G&L's would fit into his compact car. Do you guy's even remember Yomato?y2kc wrote:How many G&L's fit into a standard bed Ford Ranger? As a long time collector of pre-bbe G&L's,the right transportation for these goodies is always a key problem when a move is at hand. We moved about 2 miles away and I was able to fit 16 American made Leo era G&l's at a time. I slowly rolled them over to the new digs, locked them up and told the cats to watch them. The weather was dry and the roads smooth.
First guitar out at the new house was my black, saddle lock bridge sc-3. Second guitar out was my "B" series Heritage H-140. Good stuff!
Thanks for the responses and you were close,

Hey looks like my answer was correct. Lefties do it right.

4X4 is correct with at least 4 lefties in the bunch including a Broadcaster,Cavalier,Comanche and a Marquis. You don't see a lot of those.

well before rev 2.0.
Hell I just got home from work...I would have guessed 20 probably.
I rented a U-haul when I moved 50+ guitars (and hammonds , piano, rhodes , etc.etc.). That was a sloooow ride through the city, some might honk and whine that I was going a third the speed limit. Knowing what was
in the back ...I just smiled smiled smiled ...and kept a good lookout for the next pothole.

First things first, you need a real truck to fit all your guitars in at once and Yamoto has way too many cool old G&Ls residing across the sea!

I thought of Yamato the other day after reading some old emails I had printed up regarding sending G&L's over to Japan. A great G&L collector and a very nice man.
