my first real electric guitar was a legacy special, back then I had one with amazing blue swirl finish, I sold it about 15 years ago.
always regretted selling it.
anyway - now I have another one
here it is with my other g&L guitars
I have to say that the new legacy are very very different from the old ones from the 90s
I think my CAR 2011 legacy has much more vintage feel, probably because of the body and neck shape.
