Newbie tryin' to get the scoop on these ASAT alnico PUPs

I'm looking to buy an esquire-type axe and just came across the Solamente. wow!! she looks nice.

I'll definitely be wanting an alnico PUP in it but I have not been able to find too much info on the new G&L alnicos.

I own a nash tele with lollars. how do the ASAT alnicos compare to the lollars?

I sent your post to Paul Gagon to get his comments on his ASAT Classic Anico pickups. Here's his reply:

Hi Craig,

The G&L Alnico bridge pickup for the ASAT And the Solamente are modeled after the Vintage Fender pickups
from the mid 50s with just a bit more punch and output. If comparing them to the Lollars it would be somewhere
between their Vintage T and their 52 T type bridge pickup.

These babies are very balanced in their tone with just a bit more kick in the mids. Im not sure when the Solamente
will make its appearance but I believe it will be very soon. Stay tuned for a wiring diagram.
