Yes, I did. Like I said in my earlier post, I was getting close to pulling the trigger on ordering a new one, using that fancy new guitar builder. I really wanted an S500 with a saddle lock instead of a dual fulcrum. I have a Carvin CT-6 with a Floyd, so I dont want/need another tremolo. But the price was just too good to pass up. What's your opinion on the green? I was thinking of replacing the pickguard with a white pearloid.

Nice looking guitar and a good price.I was thinking of replacing the pickguard with a white pearloid.
Since you asked for opinions, I would leave the pickguard as is. The black sets off the black edges in the burst finish.
I personally don't care for the white pearloid.

that guitar has some nice options , matching head stock , natural wood binding and premium finish .... I like the black PG myself , but Mint would look good too

Love ya work bro,AND your approach to the instrument.i too only buy planks that pull their weight & like you said you already have a Floyd & were working another angle to open summor doors for yaself.
I'm unfamiliar with the workings of the DF sorry JT so am unable to say whether you can drive it to the body via springs to open you up to 2-3 string/pedal steel etc bends & still hold the pitch like you can with a fender standard trem.there would be boys here that'd be able to answer that though I'm sure.i haven't tried one of these either but another member here put me onto them not long ago & I've read nothing but good reports.the maglock is the kipper that may interest you bud..

Regarding the colour i love it personally JT,the finish & wood binding was what grabbed me straight away
As for the scratch plate it's your baby JT & ultimately your decision bro but I gotta go a +3 with fumble & Eddie here.i think the black sets the body off nice myself.you da man though JT & now she's YOURS dude, touché!!

I haven't kept up with the used prices lately, but without a look, I'd have to agree on the no-brainer label for this one. Unless you wanted a Saddle-lok merely for the look, possibly for ergonomics, you won't be upset with the DF.

Thanks to everyone for their replies! I appreciate getting some feedback that helped me buy yet another guitar. I'm just getting back in another band, and I needed to augment my arsenal. Like several of you said, and I agree, for the price this appears to be a no brainer. The seller said he just bought a new car and needed some quick cash. So his loss, my gain! Once I get it I'll post some pics. Thanks again guys!
