Korina.
It is really an employee built guitar, from left over parts from previous special builds. Korina body, pao Ferro fret board, and an ASAT Super bridge pup.

NICE!
Very nice Jag, you are gonna have a really, really tough time deciding which guitar you are gonna play when the other one leaves the factory!
How do you like the Super Pickup thus far?

Re: NGD! Finally pulled the trigger in an SC-2
Judging from the neck pup, I think I have the neck Super pup as well. They are easy to dial in for some fuzz in the Riv, also able to enjoy them with lots o headroom too. More versatile than reviews have lead me to believe. They are creamier than stock soapbar MFD's. The dense Korina gives the whole thing a warmth I've not found in the alder wood SC-2.
I will play this and the alder SC-2 back to back at the store and compare further. So far, VERY pleased.

Autumnburst over Korina. Figured it'd be a good companion to the ash autumn LE-2...Fumble fingers wrote:what a beauty !! ... is that a tobacco sunburst ??

Interesting, did you get this through a dealer (at least it appears to be)? The fact that there is a Custom Specification Build Sheet, it looks more like a "One-Off" from the factory.JagInTheBag wrote:nope.darwinohm wrote:Awesome, is that mahogany?-- Darwin

Kinda like the recent Prototypes the factory was offering to the dealers. Does it have a serial number?
The Autumnburst finish on Korina look's great!
Congratulations.
Don't forget to register it, too.

It does have a serial. I guess how you describe it is more accurate. I did purchase the guitar through Music Source in Grayslake, IL. I will certainly register it! Thanks Craig.Craig wrote:

Re: NGD! Finally pulled the trigger in an SC-2
this autumnburst looks nothing like the autumnburst in the le2 options rundown thread. this definitely looks more like the tobacco sunburst, doesn't have the dark edge.JagInTheBag wrote:Autumnburst over Korina.
