FF, that is what I call the Buck Owens paint job. Buck used Red, White and Blue. G&L does it one better with Red, Silver and Blue Sparkle. Definitely a custom order. I will have one some day!-- Darwin

so you can order that color combo ?? .... if so , I'm half tempted to see if its to late to change my SC2 from ruby red to tri-color sparkle :) ...... dang I gotta quit looking at G&L's , I need some Rolaids bad ..LOL

Darwin , I have to keep going back to this link for a good picture of Ruby red metallic to remind myself its a bitchin color , I ordered a DF too and it looks like I might have the first ruby red SC2 made , not that it will make it worth more or anything like that , but would still be cool none the less

this seems to be the best pictures I can find on ruby red

I'm surprised that hasn't been snapped up already - there was quite a bit of talk about that guitar (the Buck Owens one) a while back. I don't know if you can order that finish, but the upcharge for a tri-colour sparkle finish would be enormous ;)

First ever ruby-red SC2? Nope! I was looking at this one just before I ordered mine. Sure looks good!

your pict looks good .... its hard getting good picts of ruby red on the net .... OK then , maybe I'll have the first ruby red on the registry ..lol .... I agree not sure why know one has snagged the Buck Owens .... if I didn't have two on order and a ASAT classic now I would own that guitar : ) .... if I only would have seen it sooner , it looks priced to sell to boot

Looks like the "Buck Owens" sold .... I almost called them about buying it today, what a beautiful guitar ..... the only turn off for me maybe would be the slim C neck profile , never tried a slim C but it doesn't sound comfortable , I would rather try one before buying one , it might be ok

Sorry, but there are already five guitars in the G&L Registry with Ruby Red Metallic. :searching:

It is an awesome finish!

All I had to do was ask and they made me two of them. I am sure you could have it done.
