Thanks guys. After trying several FSR strats and getting pissed, (wrong bar), fretting out, etc. I decided to come back to G&L. Also have Ibanez 1550ML and RG470 MIJ plus Historic Les Paul, all lefty's. They all get played. Digging G&L, used to have a Legacy Special in black with GOT Maple Neck and when I saw this online had to get it.

Gun oil always did sound kinda messy.
Speaking of which, this guitar would not stay in tune with whammy use. The low E string would always go sharp. Fixed it with Big Bends Nut Sauce. Scoured the ebay after purchase and found the alternative is much cheaper: http://www.attuneaid.com/guitar-lube/
