G&L finishes pages - preference question

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

G&L finishes pages - preference question

Post by Darth Invader »

Hi guys,

We're doing some housekeeping and updating of the finishes pages on the G&L site and I've got a question for you all.

For years our finishes pages have a guitar or bass cropped in on the body. Do you prefer it like that or would you rather see the whole instrument with the zoom function like this?

http://www.glguitars.com/instruments/US ... e-test.asp

We had just updates some of the pages when I realized we could do it this way instead. So, rather than just keep on trucking, I thought I'd ask you.

Thanks, guys.

BTW, more of the team are posting pics from the factory on the facebook page. If you do facebook, you might want to check it out.

The zoom feature is great! Bigger is better.

The Facebook site looks great!

now if you just added the nena finish to the factory standards, that would be great.

Hey Dave,

Another vote for zoom! The Facebook stuff is absolutely fantastic. From the amount of likes some of the photos are getting I would say a lot of others are digging the pics too  I hope it is something that is here to stay.

Zoom is good. Just make sure the pics aren't too doctored-up...

The color scheme is not only about the body but rather the whole instrument. The zoom is indeed nicer but then you could update your pics library with colors and different combinations of wood fretboards, body woods and pickguards... bindings... hardware... (Dream on)
Zoom is better! (Thanks for asking) :)

Zoom is good, but please update all of the individual pages to state if the guitar in question is available in lefty or not.

Well, that was easy! Thanks, guys.

Southpawguy, we've got a bunch of model pages to update so we'll have to get on that as well. Exhibit A: The SC-2 still showed RH only even though we got the lefty version done. Just got the SC-2 page updated last Friday.

Thanks again, everyone!
