MFD Alternative

Post by kimanistar »

Second time I'm putting myself in danger of offending anyone.I live in Germany so gear can be hard to come by.I really like the sound of the MFD pups and I'm worried if I'll ever find them.I went on the site to purchase things and it wasn't working. Is there a more accessible brand and/or type of pup that will give me a similar type of tone that the MFD does?

The G&L website doesn't work if you live outside the USA (I've had the same issues).

Send an e-mail to BBE using the 'Contact Us' link explaining what you want to buy. You'll receive a reply from someone with a phone contact number, and they'll take your order over the phone. I did this recently and it only took 3-4 minutes to supply a credit card number and address. A week later I received my stuff. :happy0065:

Good luck!

Fender neck pickups fit in the ASAT neck position, so I'm guessing the reverse is true too.

Just one more question...Which Duncan or Dimarzio Tele pup do you think would do the same or similar job that the MFD would?

Darn. Now I have to scroll right to see all that went on. And the one thing I hate more than quoting others in my reply is being quoted by others. So don't quote me ;)
