I'm curious what wood my 1998 ASAT Classic is made of , I just registered it on the regestry and saw people listing the type of wood there guitars are made of ... the Luither took some picts of the neck and body for me when he had the neck off for a file and polish but I don't know what I'm looking for ... it's a blonde finish where you can see the grain throught the color if that helps any
thanks , Eric

It is likely to be Swamp Ash, but please post some pics (front and back of body), so we can confirm which wood type it is.Fumble fingers wrote:I'm curious what wood my 1998 ASAT Classic is made of , I just registered it on the regestry and saw people listing the type of wood there guitars are made of ... the Luither took some picts of the neck and body for me when he had the neck off for a file and polish but I don't know what I'm looking for ... it's a blonde finish where you can see the grain throught the color if that helps any
