My Second G&L

Well, it's actually my 3rd but I sold one that needed a lot of work..... Anyhooo. She's a 2005. Play's beautifully but I'm not thrilled with this version of saddles. I'll buy the newer types. She's a closet queen. I can't find any blems on the body (the pickguard is barely scratched) but, there is a small one by the heal of the neck. No one will ever see unless they're inspecting every millimeter like I did. I wanted one that looks classic, simple, and clean. And I think I found that....

Beautiful! Love the creme covers and knobs on the white pickguard. Did the same thing for my George Fullerton Signature.

I like the shade of the neck. Goes well with the white. Does the guitar plug seat flush in the jack?

Thanks, everyone! I was a benefactor of serendipity. I was looking on the web for one like this for quite a while with no success. So, I went to the online build your own G&L. Built one just like this and told my wife, "this is the guitar I'm going to order" (from my local G&L dealer). As luck would have it, I found a used (for a lot less) one on ebay the next day. It was destiny, my friends. I'm glad I didn't order a new one because I didn't get a bonus at work I was promised.... Corporate $&&$%%&&!!!!

@ Meowmix... Why do you ask? Is that an issue? I'm curious because I saw someone had to drill out that cavity a bit. I know G&Ls are picky how the jack is place. I usually loosen the nut, insert a plug, rotate the jack until the plug goes all the way in then, tighten the nut.

It is an easy fix. Better than playing around with the nut every time. I am curious how long this has been going on.

Weird. I have never ever ever ever done that. That thought has never entered my mind. I just learned something new.
