does the dual fulcrum trem change the sound or tone compared to the saddle lock bridge on a ASAT Special ??? ..... if so , is it a minor difference or huge ??

hope this Q hasn't been asked before , I searched the knowledge base and didn't find anything

I think the bridge has a significant effect on the sound of a guitar. For me, the big difference between a guitar with a vibrato system and one with a fixed bridge is in the attack - a fixed bridge has more attack and feels 'quicker', whereas a vibrato gives it a more 'elastic' sound.
