g&l sighting

we talked in one of the lr's about seeing g&l's on stage. last night i went to a jam, and the other guitar player was playing a brand new legacy through a conrad amp. i have never seen him before, but he was a very good player. i have some video, i'll upload it, but need to fix the picture, the lighting conditions were really bad. he said he also has an asat deluxe.
this was my second time paying out with the two rock, i am loving the amp so far.

How does your Two Rock compare to other Dumble clones?

very favorably. i have a ceriatone ots 50, and have payed the fuchs ods, the van weelden, i played a real dumble ods as well. also a steel string singer. the two rock actually has improved on the dumble, has buffered effects loop, parallel reverb (with pull defeat to remove entire circuit) to effects loop (delay repeats don't get reverb), effect loop is defeatable, also a separate pull bright on the loop, separate contour for clean and drive channels, dual tube rectifiers, able to use 6l6 or el34 power tubes, all the preamp switching from the ods, plus an extra mid switch, and a pull mid defeat to make it a blackface front end. still retains the pre od tonestack and the cascading gain stages.
this one does the best job so far in dialing in both the best clean tones, and a smooth touch sensitive overdrive. even on the dumbles that is hard to do with the same eq settings.

Thanks Lou, I've wondered from time to time what Two Rock did to earn their reputation (since they seem to have transcended other Dumble cloners). If I can ever drop $4,000 on an amp, I know what to get.

try 6k. it's the custom reverb signature v3. only their ods is more, and that is only made as special order.
