Valuing a spalted L2000

Hi,

I need to update my insurance rider for my musical instruments.
I bought a spalted L2000 a few years ago from Buffalo Brothers.
There were only 3 of these made with a maple neck (thanks to Craig for his research).

How would I go about valuing this bass, since there are so few made?








Any advice would be appreciated.

It's spalted maple. From 2008.

Kate, that is a stunning bass.The front is awesome but look at that ash grained back. The best, most defined grain I have seen. I am assuming you want to insure it for replacement value and it would seem to me that because of the lack of replacements, it should be worth at least what you paid. I bet that B Bros would have a good idea. Thanks for posting the pics.-- Darwin
