Here's a G&L Legacy on UK Ebay, which looks very appealing indeed! But a bit of research makes it appear very dodgy.

A very early Legacy. I've emailed the seller and he insists it is a Leo era instrument, despite the fact I've told him Leo's date of death and the start date for Legacy models. He's confirmed that I'm right that it has Seymour Duncans but has not changed his listing.
He has 2 pics of it - one is a stock pic, and one is stolen from this site and can be seen here in post #25: http://www.strat-talk.com/forum/stratoc ... -pics.html
His feedback is bad, and he's listed this as a 24 hour sale. If it was genuine, I'd have it like a shot! But I'm way too cautious to take a punt on it.
What do you guys think?

Re: Warning - Ebay Legacy!
Goat,
One of the photos shows a pearlescent PG, tinted neck and seemingly clear red finish, but the other shows a white PG, satin neck and Fullerton Red finish. Obviously, at least one is wrong. Plus, since the seller is falsely claiming this to be Leo-era, I'd be concerned about the claim that it's US-built. Is the "slight flaw" on the back of the headstock about the size of a serial number?
I would run far and fast, unless the seller posted some clear and consistent photos showing the headstock decals, neck plate and serial number...
