Body wood

I actually can't tell if my 89 skyhawk has a maple body or a ash body. It doesn't seem to have as much grain as most G&L bodies have from that time period, but seems to have more than I expect from a maple body.

At a closer inspection and by the weight of the guitar (lite). I believe its definitely ash. I just got this guitar two days ago.
