Great looking asat jr Jag! I really like the korina collection, what's it like weight wise? both my asats are close to 8 lbs, just curious if the Korina is lighter.

The Korina ASAT Jr II I have is 8.75 lbs. Hope jaginthebag gets around to weighing his, I am curious if there's much variation between individual instruments.

It is at the guitar store, I was letting it warm up before tuning it and have the tech to the set up on Mon-Tuesday. I will drop in and weigh it then. Stay tuned!

Mine weighs 8.15lbs, pretty significant difference there
This might not interest anybody, but I strung mine up 11-48 strings this afternoon having always felt that the 10-46 it comes with were a bit wimpy for such a tough guitar. While it was in no way bad before, the heavier strings have made it even better, given it more of what it was before and added a fair bit of sustain too. Do it! Give the truss rod about 1/8th of a turn when you do.
I have noticed that the Korina's all vary in weight. I have a JR at home that I love. We got four in the first order and I had to let three guys that the first picks. I think I lucked out on mine.

I'm starting a 'Most Wanted' list.... and one of those is at the top of it, just above the Korina Bluesboy. I don't recon there are any/many in the UK though!
Have to say... the LE-2 is looking mighty tempting too.
