Satin gunoil tint, if I ask "Pretty Please" will they do it

Post by JagInTheBag »

This was my favorite neck finish, especially on a birdseye neck. Is there any possibility that they will still do this finish on a custom order?

Yes, they do offer Light Tint Satin, see Comparison of Neck Finishes.

BTW, the SC-2 (re-released in 2008) came stock with a gunoil tinted satin finish neck with a gloss front headstock.

Hope this helps.

Light Tint Satin with a gloss front head stock would be killer, that is how my Jazzmaster is finished. Thanks Craig!

Should we take this to mean that G&Ls would do a neck with a light tint satin back and a light tint gloss headstock front on a regular order? That would be great.

The order code is: STGH - Satin Tint Neck, Gloss Head according to my store's field rep.

Cheers!

The store near me as a legacy special birds-eye neck with a Vintage Tint satin finish. It is gorgeous!
