Value of a ASAT Jr Limited edition

Post by tleonard »

I'm trying to figure out the value of this guitar I bought. Trying to drum up cash...thought I've been playing it all day and might change my mind.

I don't have my G&L stuff here (I'm in the process of moving) so I can't provide the MSRP for this guitar. Perhaps someone who owns a copy of the Blue book (yo, Jos you around?)
and can provide you with this info. Also, please do read the READ ME FIRST: guitarsbyleo.com History and G&LDP Guidelines. If you decide to sell it please post your Ad in our Marketplace and not on the G&LDP.

The Blue Book does not mention the original MSRP, but lists a price of $1,600 for a closet relic (i.e. as good as new, unplayed). A Junior in MINT condition goes for about $1,450 with a pretty steep drop off to $1,000 for one in more than excellent condition (EXC+). A well played Junior would still get you about $600.

Hope this helps,

Thanks Jos. I just sold it for $600...it was near perfect so I guess I gave him a deal. I'll definitely miss it.
