i almost want to hang this work of art on the wall and not play it , but the super comfy neck keeps that from happening. the sound is amazing there is nothing like an overwound MFD IMHO this thing sounds HUGE! nice and warm but keeps the ASAT sparkle.
strangely when i received her the neck pickup kept cutting out, i opened it up and found that the neck pickup lead was not soddered in simple fix but still very strange for G&L but i guess everyone makes mistakes.

this was the strangest transaction i have ever had . i was on the road and found an 82 S-500 on CL for a very good price and 2 days later i walked into a guitar store and got a trade in deal i could not refuse. i had a bit of sellers remorse but that went out the door when this arrived ( aided by the fact i finally got my hogbody S-500 project together)
all and all a killer ghuitar that wont be going anywhere any time soon
