New (old) Guitar Day, '65 Fender Jaguar THE "JagInTheBag"

Three years gone by, starting with a basket case neck and body given to me when I was a poor college student trying to build my own axe in my dorm room. My 65 Fender Jaguar, Jag in the Bag, has finally come home!

Finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, Lake Placid Blue. I took some artistic license with the black pg, but it looks killer, don't it? Pups are hand wound Curtis Novak Jaguar Vintage spec. Enjoy! :happy0065:

Wow! Great job on this. This may inspire me to do something with the '66 Duo Sonic body and neck in my closet...or the '82 L1K in my basement...

I definitely like the black PG. Who did the finish?

Thanks Ken! This was definitely a labor of love, my local store's luthier, Chip Jurkovac from his bio "For over 30 years, Chip has been working professionally on guitar construction, restoration and repair. His career began at Dean Guitars back in 1980 where he worked in all phases of guitar construction. At Hamer Guitars (1986-1988), Chip gained valuable experience in their finishing department."

It is NOT something he does regularly, he stepped up to do this one.

Looks great Patrick. The pickguard with the white pickups is a lovely touch

Fixture is done, they ran a prototype, doing some tweaks and we should be good to go soon.
