Invader wiring question - (2) CLF100's (1) SD Humbucker

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

Invader wiring question - (2) CLF100's (1) SD Humbucker

Post by mikeyguitar »

Hey...sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I have an Invader (2003) that had 2 Dual Blades and 1 SD Humbucker with coil tap.

I changed the 2 blades out for 2 CLF100's and it's great but position 2 was really thin. Swapped the red and yellow on the middle pick up and now position 4 is thin.

Does anybody have a pic or diagram of the proper wiring for this combination?

I have another Invader that is configured like this and it's great. I would just copy it but it's out on a rental and I can't get to it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Mike,

This likely is not the exact answer you are looking for but maybe it gives you the right hint. In the Gallery, you'll find this wiring diagram for a Legacy HB. I couldn't find any wiring diagram for an Invader per sé, but your pickup combination is identical to the Legacy HB.

Hope this helps,
