Jim Weider's ProJECT PERCoLAToR
Every once in a while, I hear something new that grabs me right away. If you've not heard Jim Weider's Project Percolator, check them out. They have tons of stuff at http://archive.org/details/JIMWEIDERSProJECTPERCoLAToR. Jim Weider is an old school master of the telecaster, but he really stretches it out here with an amazing band behind him.

Thanks desertrat07. I always liked Jim, just by virtue of him replacing the 'irreplaceable' Robbie Robertson in The Band. Now, the topic of whether The Band is The Band without Robbie is a topic entirely in and by itself

I believe that The Band probably sounds more like The Band without Robbie than it would have if Danko or Levon Helm had left and been replaced. But Robbie Robertson is great too, and without his lyrics....?yowhatsshakin wrote:Thanks desertrat07.
