"One-off" G&Ls

Post by zapcosongs »

I just stumbled upon this auction for a "one-off" walnut-bodied SC-2 (no affiliation)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... SS:US:1123

I'm just wondering how often G&L does this kind of thing, and how we, as G&L "enthusiasts" can find out about the availability of such instruments in a way that benefits us. Hmmmmm.... - ed

Ed,

Don't you get the emails and newsletter that are sent out before dealers get the prototypes? Get with it!

By the way, is this web-site set up weird or is it just me. It used to be easy, even for me.

I did post about this limited body wood: A new limited body wood from G&L ... and it
was posted a couple of week's before the email to the dealers went out.

I do question whether or not this is a true "one-off" and have emailed Dave and Steve to find out if this is really a "one-off" or not.

Stay tuned.

Seriously?!? Is that tongue-in-cheek, or is there really some secret handshake, "you gotta know a guy" type of back door BS that one needs to be in the loop on in order to get product info?

Here's Dave's post about this: G&L and BBE email newsletters - need betamaxers. I've add a sticky post in this sub-forum for those who might not be aware of the
G&L email newletter.

Hope this helps.
