G&L Legacy HSH Setup

Post by edupsanches »

Hi folks.

It's my first post here.
I'm the new and happy owner of a G&l Legacy HB.
The guitar sounds and feels great but i always wanted a HSH setup and i think it could be a good option in this amazing guitar.
I want to install a seymour duncan 59 on the neck.
Is there anyone of you guys who made a HSH setup on a legacy :?:
And how about the ptb system?? It will work fine or do you think its better to change the pots just like a standard HSH guitar???
Really appreciate your help.

Welcome aboard.

Just go for it. If it turns out you don't like the PTB system it'll be dead simple to change the controls to standard strat style ones. Are you going to use the full-sized '59 or the single coil sized version?

Good choice. IMO little humbuckers don't sound very good when there's a full sized one in the same guitar.
