Hi , to follow up a previous question... can anyone tell me what wood type my asat neck and body is?

I don't think those photos are going to be adequate for anyone to offer an opinion. Can you provide better quality non-blurry pics?

I assume the guitar is a solid color and not a transparent finish?

+1 , and maybe some end grain and the back of the neck?

...in the meantime, I'd bet the body is Ash and the neck is Maple .

What does the guitar weigh? ( Northern Ash is somewhat heavy , Southern Ash tends to be
light ).

To get better pictures you should use the macro setting on your camera if it has one. Makes a big difference.

any thoughts on whether I can clean, should clean, this marking on the end?... pics still aren't that great, sorry!!!!
