Hi,
I have had several G&Ls over the years and love them all.
However, a few people that I've spoken with have suggested
that I use a high-end gig bag instead of a HSC.
All of my G&Ls came with a case and are fine, but heavy.
I read the thread where the G&L gig bag is no longer being
shipped with the Tributes.
However, are they no longer available separately?
If, not what bag would be the best to get for traveling?
What does everyone else use?
Thanks,
Kate

Still making the G&L gig bag?
Playing bass is a lot like playing chess. Easy to do but it takes a lifetime to master....

The G&L site still lists the gig bag for sale:
http://www.glguitars.com/shopping/shopd ... es&sppp=20
although it says "out of stock".
In my opinion, G&L makes one of the best conventional style gig bags.

Check out their videos showing them tossing guitars off the roof of a building.

Re: Still making the G&L gig bag?
I got my G&L bag on eBay brand new for a ridiculous price and for my needs it is adequate--just to throw it into my car and drive a few miles to a jam.
If I were in the market for a serious alternative to a hard case I would definitely buy the Reunion bag--probably better protection than any hard case...plus less weight and smaller.

Re: Still making the G&L gig bag?
I just picked up a 2009 Tribute Comanche that came shipped in a G&L Gig Bag.
Up to now, my thinking was: A Gig Bag is okay when I'm on the move, but for storage, I like a HSC.
This is now my 2nd G&L Tribute in as many weeks. I also have a G&L Gig Bag for my ASAT Special, but I keep it stored in a Gator (GC-Elec-A) HSC. Unfortunately, the Comanche won't work in a Gator case.
Are the G&L Gig Bag's safe enough for storage?
Apart from the G&L cases, are there other HSC's that fit the G&L Comanche?
Thanks, guys.
