Replacement for the little vibrato bar set screw?
My G&L Legacy does not have the little set screw that you can adjust to tighten the vibrato bar, which is too loose. Is it possible to get a replacement from G&L?

Yes, G&L sells them (pack of six sets) on their On-Line Store.fenderfan wrote:My G&L Legacy does not have the little set screw that you can adjust to tighten the vibrato bar, which is too loose. Is it possible to get a replacement from G&L?
Here's the link to them: Tension Screw Set.
There are two different thread configurations, so make sure to order the correct one for your Legacy.
Also, if there is a local G&L dealer near you, they might have them in stock as well.
Hope this helps.

Re: Replacement for the little vibrato bar set screw?
Installation tip: check that the nylon bushing plug is small enough to allow room for the screw to get in there.
I needed the nylon bushing that goes with the "Old Style" tension screws. I ordered a set of the tension screws from the factory on their website.
I had trouble installing the screw because the factory cut the nylon bushing plugs too thick. The tension screw had no room to get into the screw hole.
I had to use a dentists pick to remove some nylon material from the screwhole. I removed a small bit of nylon . . . enough to allow room for the screw, and, all is now well.
