G&L Dusk Rose (pink) finish.

I always wondered why G&L doesn't offer a shell pink finish. As I was browsing Ebay, I came upon this prototype Legacy in Dusk Rose. I hope G&L will be adding this to their list of color options. Here it is:

Here is the description: One of our paint suppliers does much of their business in the automotive field, supplying accident repair and custom car shops throughout the US. They have an incredible array of color charts from just about every car company (US and foreign) and the formulas to match the colors. We are always looking for interesting solid colors and this one is a Ford color from 1958 call Dusk Rose. We still haven’t decided it this is something that will be offered, but for now here’s one very unique G&L Legacy.

If you scroll down the Guitar Prototypes you'll find the same guitar with the same blurb as written by the G&L PR folks . For each guitar it is indicated to which dealer they were shipped and apparently this one ended up on daBay. Incidentally there is also a page for bass guitars. My first real bass was a pink Fender Jazz. I was 16 and couldn't sand that finish off fast enough! Now I can appreciate it, and would love to see more G&Ls in this color.
