a cool comparison.

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

That was great,
The Comanche sounded clearer with more spank, the strat wa ok but it reminded me of my hog SG
relative to the Comanche (lotsa mids and a bit compressed). I actually expected to hear the opposite.
Nice way to compare and contrast.

I have to disagree, I think the strat was clearer and the Comanche had more mids.

Definitely more similarities in the sound than differences to me, probably due to the distortion. I hear more mids in the Comanche.

I prefer the look of the Comanche :D

I would imagine he left the tone controls on the amp the same. Makes me wonder where the tone controls were set on each guitar. I was surprised at the similarity of some of the tones.

Both sounded very alike to me but pretty cool way to hear them both!
