Gotoh saddles on a G&L trem??

Post by goldspanner »

has anyone put Gotoh saddles on a G&L bridge?

I know that lots of people keep saying they would like the saddles from the higher end G&L trem to be available as a set, but for now, maybe Gotoh could work??

Would they fit??

Cheers

I don't think the upgrade is available yet. It's not that the new saddles are "better". The upgrade is for a steel block and steel saddles. The current ones are brass. There's a difference in how they sound. It depends on which you prefer.

If you want steel, GFS has steel saddles that work. I installed a set on my USA Legacy. They are cheap and work great.

G&L does offer a saddle set for the DF Trem in the On-Line Store: Saddle set for G&L Dual Fulcrum vibrato.
You might also check with your favorite G&L dealers for parts, too.

Hope this helps.
