Are all G&L neck pockets the same for same models?

Just curious about neck interchangeability on 1980s-current day G&L basses and guitars...even for the same model.

Isn't it true that not all G&L necks, even for the same models, can fit each others' neck pockets?

Sorry if this has been asked before; I did do a search on neck pocket/dimensions/etc. but nothing came up.

It's not about the model. It's about the year of manufacture. I don't know the cut off date, but you can't trade older parts between older guitars and newer guitars. The newer necks are just a touch wider in the heel.
