Asat Classic Uncontrollably Microphonic

Hi, first time post to see if anyone has any idea of how to fully solve a microphonic bridge problem on an Asat Classic.

This is a guitar that I bought second hand, though its only about two years old. It is heavily microphonic, to the extent of not being usable. I have repotted the pickup, checked the bridge plate is lying flush,ensured the base plate is solidly attached and added wax for good measure.

I also have an Asat Classic Tribute model that is absolutely fine with similar amounts of gain, so it definitely an issue with this particular guitar.

Am i missing a really obvious way of solving this issue??

did you back out all of the pole piece screws when you repotted it?
interestingly on my bluesboy the pup was very microphonic and another pup was fine, while the original bb pup is fine in another guitar.

Thanks to both of you. I think most of the problem is coming from the bridge plate not sitting flat at the front.

I am tempted to replace the bridge with a thicker Callaham one, that also has the additional holes at the front to ensure it sits flush.

Does anyone have any experience with these or potential the cheaper Joe Barden version on a G&L?

i have the callaham. i absolutely love it. never a squealing issue, the thickness and the front 2 screws make sure of that. the tone is also great. but i would seek out a good tech first, see what ideas they may have.
