...haha that subject kind of sounds like a dating service subject or something. I just want to introduce myself. I work as a manager for a big red retailer that most of the American posters have visited at some point or another. I have been into G&L guitars since i started my first job at a local mom and pop when i was 15. We did not do enough business to carry Fender as an authorized dealer and as a result, I must have turned on hundreds of people to G&L, which we did stock. I bought my first G&L from that store. It is a 2003 Tribute Legacy, made in Korea, that i purchased to back up my gigging Gibson SG. I added a Stacked humbucker in the bridge to better Match the
SG (reconsidering that decision after 10 years). I always had plans to get a nice American G&L and i pulled the trigger last year. I ordered a Custom Build ASAT Classic Bluesboy and i could not be happier with the quality. I am 26 and I went a little bare bones on the options, but the dream will continue and I will eventually have a beautiful spanish copper metallic ASAT special with all the bells an whistles. I was recommended to join up this message board by a local customer of my store (sorry i forget your name, but you came to check out a used l2000 we had just sold or something like that). I just want to thank everyone who posts or posted here because I was on this site everyday from when i placed my order until I received it 4 months later. The photos, extensive history, and opinions were extremely helpful while i waited for my guitar to arrive. Thanks Everyone and it's a pleasure to meet you all. Check out my photos that i plan to post in the G&L porn section to see the Beauty i received last year. -Jesse
