Do you guys know about this ASAT bass model?
I have never really seen any other black ASAT bass that has maple neck and sold body.
And is $715 a good deal for this bass? Kahler is installed on it.

just an asat bass. color and neck are options that you can get with any order. they'll be other more knowledgeable people here who know whether that bridge ever came as original or it is a mod. 715 sounds good to me.

This bass is 'double' registered in the Registry: once a 'B033478' with no specific description nor owner, but also as 'CLF033478'. In the latter the description reads: 'Kahler bass tremolo added by a luthier in Hawaii.' and there is also a (previous) owner listed. If that owner is not you, and the email is still active and working, you might stop him/her a mail and ask for more info.

The choice of maple fingerboard has been available for the longest time as has black as a finish, so nothing out of the ordinary there.

$715 sounds like a good price to me too. But mor important would be whether it is worth that amount to you. Whatever anybody else says then is rather inconsequential.

Hope this helps,

- Jos
