ASAT with a 9.5 inch radius?

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

ASAT with a 9.5 inch radius?

Post by LeoFThe Champion »

G'day all , I am trying to convince my mate about the merits of G&L. He is looking to by a telecaster type guuitar. He is wondering is there an ASAT with a flatter fingerboard that won't choke out his acrobatic finger bending style?.If so what years would they be made?
cheers,
Anthony

sure. they come with 12" radius. my bluesboy came like that. the tribute series asats have 9", but none of the us made ones have that. the 12' has always been available as far as i know, so any year would qualify.

USA G&L ASAT guitar models are available in 7.5" or 12" radius. See the G&L USA Options page for
a list of available necks.

Also, see What are the USA neck size options, past and present?

The current G&L Tribute Series ASAT models vary in the neck radius depending upon
which model your mate is interested in. See the G&L Tribute Series Models page
for each of the available ASAT models. Some models come with a 9" radius,
some with a 12" radius, and one with a 13.75" radius. Note there are no neck
size/shape options on the Tribute Series models.

Hope this helps.

Let me clarify my response on the ASAT Tributes above:

Most Tribute ASAT models come with a 9" radius.
The ASAT Deluxe Carved Top has a 12" radius, and
the ASAT HB has a 13.75" radius.

Hope this helps.
