Pickup change on Asat special deluxe possible?

Hi everybody,

don't kill me..., but is it possible, to change the MFDs on a Asat Special deluxe into Humbuckers, or wide range, etc..

Rio Grande makes a replacement single coil and now offers a humbucker that drops into a large MFD opening. Here's a link:

If my ASSH doesn't sell, I might give the hummer a try in the bridge with a Vintage Tallboy in the neck.
